Plov, samsa and green tea in Tashkent

We started early, with tea and fresh bread. Our local guide knew everyone on the street, and every door seemed to open for us.

Our driver stopped at a small roadside café we would never have found alone. The food was simple and perfect, and the view even better.

The last day was the one we will remember: slow, warm and full of small surprises. We are already planning to come back.
